I have looked everywhere. Macy's, Dillards, Gap, Banana Republic, Boston Proper, Athleta, JCPenney, Bealls, Old Navy, Target, Kohl's...I'm so desperate that I even looked at Sears.
I just want simple dresses - something cotton or stretchy, a sheath or something similar - something that I can just pop on to wear out to eat or sightsee while on vacation. Nothing fancy. I think I waited too long to look because it seems like everything like that is gone from the stores.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm so desperate that I'm ready to head to the fabric store to buy a pattern and fabric so that I can just make them myself. And I really don't want to do that...

Victoria's Secret? Guess that depends on how long you can wait for them to ship though.
That's a good one. Their shipping is pretty quick for me - I live near one of the distribution centers. I did check their site (I forgot to add them to the ones I listed), but they didn't have anything either. I just ordered 4 things from Macy's but I suspect they'll all be returned. :-(

Well, I found a cute dress at JCrew - but it's on final sale, which means no returns or exchanges. So I'm trying to decide whether or not to chance spending $40 + shipping for it. I've also checked Anne Klein, White House Black Market, & Calvin Klein. Sigh.
